‘Council of Europe’ Ransomware, otherwise known as ‘Council of Europe (Internet is temporarily blocked) Ransomware, is a malware infection found as ransomware that, once enter, on a computer system, shows a fraudulent alert ‘Internet is temporarily blocked’. The fake message of the ‘Council of Europe’ Ransomware is an online scam generated by cybercrooks to dupe credulous computer users into disclosing their credit card information. The bogus warning message that is shown to computer users claims that they must submit their personal information in order to unlock the Web browser. PC users should not disclose their private details asked by the fake warning message of ‘Council of Europe’ Ransomware. ‘Council of Europe’ Ransomware urges computer users to send a payment of 0.01 Euro in order to verify the submitted personal information. If computer users enter their credit card information asked by the deceptive alert of ‘Council of Europe’ Ransomware, they would send their banking information to scammers.
